Jamal A.Hegwood or known as J-Mal S.Y.A.F. is apart of this group. He is a very good speaker. He has won first place in Forensics many times. He went to state for the Wisconsin State Forensics Tournament and won first place.In 2008 he also went to Indianapolis with his school and represented Wisconsin in the Black History Debate and took first place. He also went to Birmingham and won first place for the second year. And not to long ago he wrote a speech and entered the Martin Luther King Speech contest and won first place. And a two time city forensics champion. Jamal A. Hegwood is only 13 years old. Jamal has been in 3 of our 4 songs.All our voices need to be heard. We have been crying out for help but we have not been answered. Were ringing out loud and clear but no ones there to hear. Maybe you can help Gran- Gran and family.
Mamie Dupree- Hegwood a.k.a. Gran- Gran, The founder of Gran-Gran's cooking, talking, and working out with kids desperately believes this message need to be heard. Gran- Gran and family made a new song called The Obama Groove Circle the newest dance craze. They have been on board with Obama from the time he spoke at the Democratic National Convention over 4 years ago. Obama talked about change and she happens to be one of the 40 million or so with no Health Insurance. Plus, since shes working part time her income is fixed. Spending a large portion her of life making other people better and helping out primarily the youth, it seems no-one has bailed Gran- Gran out. On second thought, no-one besides family which will have her back in all her projects.
Kendall Heard is a self motivated, hard working young male. His pursuit of knowlegde drives him on the daily basis to do more, see more, and be more. As a well rounded humble individual helping others is usually atop his to do list. Family plays a huge role in his life, and due to his strong up bringing he is at the least an asset to those who may know him.
